Book: Stars By Richard Dyer
This source is a publication explaining in great detail how stars and movie personalities are used to sell films and draw in audiences. From this, it is obvious of the power over the success of a film often did balance on the fact that Frank Sinatra starred in leading roles. It could be said that without the participation of Sinatra in these roles that the key films in my project, they would not have being as popular or culturally accepted as they are today.

Interview and a View of the "real" Frank Sintra
this documentary shows sinatra at his most vunerable, in an interview. he rarely did interviews and the one included in this video shows him as a man who is grateful for what he has been given. Musical performances are included and emphesise his position as a legend on stage and on silver screen.

Key Film: The key film I am studying is High Society. i will talk about the way he is portrayed and the type of character he is best suited to play. in this film he is shown as cool, smooth talking and smart which conforms with the publics image of frank and therefore makes the character much more believable and enjoyable to watch. this film, i feel, shows him at his best with his musical numbers providing a soundtrack to die for with song after song of swarve and sophisticated crooning of the highest standards.
